The quality of the coolant for the screw air compressor machine has a crucial influence on the performance of the oil-injected screw air compressor machine. A good coolant has good oxidation resistance, rapid separation, good foam removal, high viscosity, and good anti-corrosion performance. Therefore, users must use pure screw air compressor machine coolant.
The coolant replacement required for the first time is after 500 hours of running-in period of a new screw air compressor machine, and the coolant needs replaced every 3,000 hours after running. It is best to change the oil filter system at the same time as when changing the oil. Start the screw air compressor and run it for 5 minutes, so that the oil temperature will rise above 70°C and the oil viscosity will decrease.
Stop running the screw air compressor, when the pressure is 0.1Mpa in the oil and gas separator, open the oil drain valve at the bottom of the oil and gas separator and connect it to an oil storage tank. The drain valve should be opened slowly to prevent the pressurized and warm coolant from splashing and hurting people.
Close the drain valve after there is no coolant. Unscrew the oil filter system, drain the coolant in each pipeline at the same time, and replace it with a new oil filter system of a screw air compressor. Open the fuel filler plug and inject new oil so that the oil level is within the range of the oil mark.
Tighten the fuel filler plug and check for leakage. The coolant in the screw air compressor must be checked frequently during use. When the oil level line is found too low, the new coolant should be refilled in time. Condensate water must be frequently discharged during the use of the coolant.
Normally, it should be discharged once a week. In high temperature climates, it should be 2-3 Discharge once a day. Stop the machine for more than 4 hours, open the drain valve when there is no pressure in the oil and gas separator to drain the condensate water, and quickly close the valve when the coolant is seen flowing out. It is strictly forbidden to use different brands of coolant, and do not use the coolant for an extended period of time. Otherwise, the quality of the coolant will be reduced, the lubricity will be poor, and cause damage of the screw air compressor.
