A portable reciprocating air compressor is a small type of piston air compressor and it is very common in the market. A portable reciprocating piston air compressor uses piston pumps to compressor air and there are two models that are available in the factory, one is an electrical powered reciprocating air compressor which is powered by an electrical motor and the other is a diesel reciprocating air compressor that is powered by diesel engine. A buyer can choose the portable reciprocating air compressor according to the needs.
An electric motor starts to drive the portable reciprocating air compressor through the flexible coupling that creates the reciprocating motion of the piston. The piston in the cylinder moves upwards and downwards. And the pressure difference of the intake valve automatically opens, air is sucked into the cylinder. The exhausting valve is gradually opened to discharge the compressed air or cylinders that complete of compression of air.
